Tienda Tucancito offers a balance between comfort and nature. Located near the main entrance of the property, it is easily accessible without crossing the creek and has a dedicated parking area nearby. The setting is more open and brighter than the deep jungle tents, while still maintaining a peaceful atmosphere away from the restaurant, bar, and pool area. The tent is elevated on stilts and surrounded by a covered wooden deck at floor level. A private bathroom is accessed via this sheltered walkway and is located in a separate rear unit equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower. The tent features a comfortable double bed, 110V electricity, and a ceiling fan. Unlike the deep jungle tents, Tucancito includes a proper screened entrance door in addition to mosquito-protected windows, allowing fresh air and natural views while remaining fully protected. Recently, all tents were upgraded with a secondary metal roof installed approximately one meter above the original canvas roof. This double-roof system significantly improves airflow and keeps the interior cooler, while protecting the deck and front terrace from sun and rain. A portable air-conditioning unit can be rented upon request and works effectively when windows are closed. WiFi is available at the tent. Between Tucancito and Amapola, you’ll find a shared outdoor seating area with benches and a table under a tree — a pleasant spot to relax. Just steps away, a wooden footbridge leads directly into the rainforest, where a network of maintained and marked trails invites you to explore and observe wildlife at your own pace. Guests can enjoy our lodge restaurant serving meals throughout the day, unwind at the evening bar with chilled drinks, and cool off in the natural swimming area surrounded by tropical greenery. Non-alcoholic beverages are available 24 hours a day in self-service mode.
