Tienda El Tecal is ideal for guests seeking tranquility and a genuine connection with tropical nature. Located across the creek in the deeper jungle section of the property, it offers a more immersive rainforest atmosphere surrounded by dense vegetation. The natural sounds of the jungle accompany you day and night, and monkeys and parrots often provide a lively morning wake-up call. Thanks to large operable windows fitted with fine protective screens, you can enjoy natural airflow and open views into the greenery while remaining fully mosquito-safe. The tent is elevated on stilts and surrounded by a wooden deck at floor level, now fully covered for added comfort. From this sheltered walkway, you access your private bathroom located in a separate rear structure, equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower. Recently, all tents were upgraded with a secondary metal roof installed approximately one meter above the original canvas roof. This double-roof system significantly improves airflow and helps maintain a cooler interior temperature, while also protecting the entire deck and front terrace from sun and rain. The tent includes 110V electricity and a ceiling fan. A portable air-conditioning unit is available for rent and performs effectively when the windows are closed. Even in this deeper jungle location, reliable WiFi is available. Guests are welcome to enjoy our lodge restaurant serving meals throughout the day, unwind at the evening bar with chilled drinks, and relax at the natural swimming area surrounded by tropical greenery. Non-alcoholic beverages are accessible 24 hours a day in self-service mode.
