Tienda Amapola offers a calm and comfortable jungle stay close to the main entrance of the property, without the need to cross the creek. A dedicated parking area is located nearby, making access easy while still maintaining privacy and quiet surroundings away from the restaurant, bar, and pool area. The tent is built on stilts and surrounded by a covered wooden deck at floor level. From this sheltered walkway, you reach your private bathroom located in a separate rear unit equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower. Inside the tent, you’ll find a comfortable double bed, 110V electricity, and a ceiling fan. The screened entrance door and mosquito-protected windows allow for natural airflow and open views into the surrounding greenery while keeping the interior fully protected. Recently, all tents were upgraded with a secondary metal roof installed approximately one meter above the original canvas roof. This double-roof system significantly improves ventilation and keeps the interior cooler, while protecting the deck and terrace from sun and rain. A portable air-conditioning unit is available for rent and works effectively when windows are closed. WiFi is available at the tent. Amapola enjoys a slightly more shaded setting due to the surrounding trees. Above the tent stands a tree that often hosts flocks of toucans in the morning, offering guests a memorable wildlife experience right from their terrace. Between Amapola and Tucancito, a shared seating area with benches and a table under a tree provides a pleasant place to relax. Just steps away, a wooden footbridge leads directly into the rainforest, where a network of maintained and marked trails allows for easy wildlife observation and exploration. Guests can enjoy our on-site restaurant throughout the day, unwind with chilled drinks at the evening bar, and cool off in the natural swimming area surrounded by tropical greenery. Non-alcoholic beverages are available 24 hours a day in self-service mode.
